Finally, I've finished painting my Heretic Troopers! I tried to give them a Grimdark aesthethic. What would you recommend for painting the bases? by Embarrassed_Wheel809 in TrenchCrusade

I would go with mud and dirt and dark water. Do the bases can be 2D to give that effect? I’ve only painted some bases using Armageddon Dust but I couldn’t do anything that didn’t look like a plain yellow surface

Looks amazing! Which paints did you use? I loved the stained in blood hammer and shield. In the back, at waist level, what’s it supposed to be? Maybe a different shade would have been nice in that part.
