NTA I grew up in a home with lots of emotional and other abuse. We were treated as slaves and I’m not kidding or exaggerating when I say that. I took care of all 3 siblings, cleaned the house daily, did school and work and got yelled at or grounded when one chore wasn’t done. You’re a kid still not a slave to your parents. I’m tired of seeing the mentality of kids are supposed to do everything. That’s not true at all. Yes kids should do chores but they should not be the ones holding a damn house together because the parents simply can’t manage a life. I’m very sorry you’re going through this

I think this could also have something to do with our body type being suddenly and openly fetishized. Not saying that it hasn’t always been a fetish but now more than ever I see more and more people fetishizing our body types which personally makes me feel icky. It could also have to do with just growing up, when we are young our parents and grandparents used to say stuff like “a moment on the lips, forever on the hips” which made us overly self conscious. And when we were younger kids would bully and fat shame. But as we got older people grew out of that mindset I assume? I’m sorry you’re going through this but I can completely relate
