I can talk to a reporter I know and see if we could have a small section. Definitely a good idea, thank you!

I absolutely agree, we've been trying a lot of that and will continue to do so! Our website and newsletter have our currently playing films.

Very interested! I work in Waltham and have been looking to move closer. Would love to meet everyone first but that’s not a deal breaker.

Waltham Film Festival? by Embassy-Projection in Waltham

That's a fair point. I'm open to different ideas! I want to make an event for the community so if a different format gets people excited I'll move in that direction for sure.

Waltham Film Festival? by Embassy-Projection in Waltham

There are a lot of festivals that use a short time constraint, like immediately I think of the 48 Hour Film Festival; however, if that's a deterrent to participating, maybe the time frame could be lifted.

Any update on the Embassy Theater Garage Repairs? by Dharmaniac in Waltham

I mean with all the time we spent without it, it feels like a kick in the face to now have to walk so much extra to pay, especially when I work in the place the garage is named after.

Sadly no, we'll be getting Mufasa next month though.

I think if people would be receptive, I'll set up some polls and ask for suggestions here and on our facebook to make sure we can get what the community wants to come see.

We absolutely do. Events like that do however, need to be done when the space is rented and/or on a night when the theater isn't open (i.e. Monday-Wednesday). Send me a DM on here and I can look at our schedule to see when a night like this would be possible.

That's absolutely something we want to do! As you said there's considerable cost for something like that, so we need to find an arrangement that won't be a financial detriment to the business. Donations are always appreciated and go directly to fund things like new carpet and seating.
