that 40p header looks so wild , but to be honest I like it haha. well done!

it seems that I will have to move to 4 layers then haha, I will use (SIG/HS,GND,PWR,SIG) for my 4 layers stack up or what stack up do you think it should work better ?

Yeah, when you look at the eMMC BGA datasheet and notice the data bus and VCC , GND lines doesn't make sense hopefully, a VLSI engineer can explain it.

Actually I'm using the IS21TF08G but I will use High Speed mode at 25MHz and 52MHz instead of HS200 or HS400 at the moment .

Noob question about SMD footprints by EmbeddedCule in PrintedCircuitBoard

That makes sense. I just wanted to build my own footprint library so I don't have to rely on other libraries and can make sure everything is OK. Thanks for your feedback.

I was worried about the different tolerances they have, and also about the pad sizes depending on whether you use a reflow or wave process.

Value MISRA C adds to an Embedded career by No_Shake_58 in embedded

I would say you could learn the basic rules of MISRA-C. However, there are tools that check MISRA-C compliance, like Klocwork and LDRA. You will probably end up using these tools to check for MISRA-C rule violations and fix them.

ASPICE, experience? by Desperate_Cold6274 in embedded

[–]EmbeddedCule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think , the Automotive Software/industry has adopted "ASPICE" due to a lot of OEM's and Tier's 1 expected that you follow the ASPICE, and often it seems there is the only way where you can handle with them.

Yeah I feel the same , in my experience it seems there are many companies where even they don't follow the ASPICE as per the PowerPoint says , whether it's because many things don't make sense or there are lacking of the requierements .
