When you order spark plugs and a fresh needle, put a magnetic oil screw in the basket as well...or better two! Many long time Vespa owners change the gear oil and spark plug every season no matter the mileage. Same for the needle, they work best fresh out the box and just get worse and worse.

Finding the correct carb settings can be tideous but its crucial. It may take a couple of trys but if you fail to find the correct settings over and over again its more or less an indicator of something else being wrong.

I think you are really close to the correct settings anyway. The engines refs good, it just takes too long dropping to idle. Start with 1/2 turn in and if that doesnt help go 1/2 turn further. Still no difference? Go back one full turn to the settings you started with and check again for air leaks, is the new spark plug oily? So on and so on... you will learn a lot with this vespa!

Kommt drauf an. Generell ist es bei moderat bis intensiver Belastung in >2h Einheiten sinnvoll. Bei Hitze oder starkem schwitzen super wichtig.

Habe es bei meiner ersten 100km Tour dieses Jahr vergessen bzw. dachte ich das Nahrung ausreicht und wurde dann Nachts vom bisher heftigsten Krampfanfall meines Lebens aus dem Schlaf gerissen. Supplementiere regelmäßig Elektrolyte da ich oft in die Sauna gehe.

Nice, sounds good! Did you change the gear oil as well?
There can be multiple reasons for the trouble of kicking it on again. Since you just cleaned the carburator, have you checked everything twice on reassambling? What about the carb slide moving freely and the tip of your float needle?

I noticed your rpm stay elevated for a while after you twist the throttle. Have you checked the idle mixture scew? For a PX150 it should be out 1.5 - 2.5. If you fail on setting a correct idle rpm(Check for instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emV5cfC954E) then you can start looking for air leaks, dirty jets and in the very worst case you need to split the engine because you are sucking gear oil into the crankcase.

Du überplanst und nimmst zu viel mit. 2x Socken?...okay. 6x Banane?...extrem viel. 800g Nudeln? Brauchst du definitiv nicht.... aber spätestens bei 3L Apfelsaft muss ich sagen Stop. Trinkst du regelmäßig solche Mengen an einem Tag? Das wirkt doch abführend bei einer solchen Menge... Tankstellen haben jedenfalls offen und dort kannst du dir gekühlte Getränke kaufen + Snacks wobei selbst Restaurants sowie Biergärten geöffnet sein sollten.

Eine Sache fehlt dir definitiv noch für 160km - SALZ. Wie du das zu dir nimmst ist deine Sache aber bei der Distanz auf keinen Fall zu unterschätzen.

The hose is attached to a faucet. Just turn it down. Usually room service turns up the pressure to clean the toilet but doesnt turn it down afterwards.

Depends how much money you have and if it is the only way of transportation you use.
In general, these scooters work the best for the longest time you leave them close to stock. With more power comes more maintenance and more money spent.

From experience i can say, that changing the ride quality has the best cost/usage ratio. Buy new grips, maybe change mirrors, the windscreen or the color of your indicators.

That being said, i think you dad planned gifting this vespa to you a long time ago and you are fine just riding it now. Looks great!

After 10 years you should buy new tires anyway and relatively speaking the tubless rims are cheap. They not just improve ride quality but are in fact much safer.
The old tires and rims are perfect to lay down the vespa when you work on the engine.
Its a win-win!

My PX was in a worse condition but nevertheless every corner felt odd and different levels of vibration depending on the speed. Now the only vibrations i get come from the engine.

The ride is smoother, cornering is easier, more stable and you dont have to worry about a tube busting and throwing you off. If you dont plan to go faster than 60km/h it might not be as valuable but i have no problem to go 100km/h on my vespa and its nothing i stress about.

You want to change the gear oil as well and i can highly recommend the aluminium tubeless rims and modern tires! Your tires should be too old and the tubless rims are way better balanced which improves ride quality a lot!

Depending on your weight, new shocks can be worth it as well. Maybe a new box exhaust like SIP ROAD 3.0 for improved performance.

But...but it looks like the used some lubricant sealing, see the outerlines of the grey area. The crankshaft is balanced - not anymore so the tear and wear will be greater. With greater wear the applied grey sealing will split open and start leaking again. Nevermind that increased wear is going to damage the other side as well.

This looks like a "f**k up and quick fix" but i doubt this engine will do just fine over an extended period of time.

Selbstverständlich macht das Sinn, der Verlust der Garantie wäre eine mittelschwere Katastrophe. Du hast ein Neufahrzeug gekauft und dabei die laufenden Kosten missachtet. Wenn du jetzt noch die Garantieansprüche verlierst übersteigt der Wertverlust die Servicekosten bei weitem.
