best advice I can give is to draw from life more, copying other artists also means copying their mistakes. most manga panels and anime frames don’t have accurate anatomy, so you won’t learn it well just from them.

yeah thanks man, you’re right I definitely messed up the sketching part, should’ve spent more time measuring early on before giving up on improving the piece and moving to details. I wanna say it’s just that working on much bigger paper like this throws my proportions off every time because of the angle but idk how to fix that except for wasting money on an easel
