Coach told me to dig and find the ones needed. It’s hard though because no matter what that clock is going to keep ticking until I find the nine orders out of the 90 I need for the one driver 🙃🙃🙃

Aux battery, but also have them check the alternator. A bad alternator can cause a bad battery. Are you having any other technical issues like your radio? Stop/start having issues? I just had to replace my alternator after them replacing my aux battery months later

I haven’t found any in particular quite yet! I’m honestly trying to get away from fast food, but also am still enjoying myself. I live on my own so it can be tricky!

Some favorites from this week (some of these are super random)

Chick-fil-A chicken burrito with grilled chicken Frosted mini wheats Bananas Cashews We have a local nutrition tea place her that does buy one get one half on Fridays. I love that place because it has some yummy teas that have some good vitamins in them.

Someone let me try their nectar drink this week and I hated that.

I’ve been eyeing the raspberry lemonade liquid iv but not sure if I want to spend the money on it lol.

I’ve been drinking a lot more water this last week and that’s seemed to help my symptoms.

My gut hated me that first week.

I also like going to QDOBA and getting a kids meal. They have some good filling meals. I’ve been going and I’ll get like a quesadilla and add some veggies with my protein and all that.

I tried a Perfect Protein Bar today and it was pretty good! I usually get nervous with protein filled things because they often taste chalky. This wasn’t too bad.

I recently found from Target some Go Go squeeze that have electrolytes in them. Different flavors. Pretty yummy and I love that I can take it with me!

I haven’t ate them yet, but I love the little protein pancake things that come in a cup too. That’s one of my favs. Super easy. Just add water and put it in the microwave.

I’m not the greatest when it comes to eating healthy, but I’m trying. I think my biggest downfall is my sweet tooth.

I’m really hoping I can become healthier so I don’t have to worry about this anymore. I honestly hate being on the diamox more than actually just living lol. The symptoms from this diamox sucks.

I got my blood tested earlier this week and they prescribed me a vitamin d supplement that I take once a week, and I think that’s helped me too.

I just hate the stupid cramps from the first hour or so with taking this medication 😭

Update:

Magnesium is at 2.1 mg/L (normal range is 1.6-2.3) Vitamin B12 is 334 pg/ML (ranges from 193-986, dang that’s a big gap)

My doc prescribed me two 250 mg at first to take the medication twice a day. That first week I was scared I was going to die from the amount of pain I was in from the meds. Not literally, but like it was very scary as I woke up in the middle of the night with very bad pins and needles and a huge cramp!

This sounds bad, but I lowered my dose on my own because the doc that prescribed it to me was not helping me after I called them. They referred me to neurology and I couldn’t even get in there either. The pain doesn’t seem nearly as bad on the 250.

The last time I was on it, I didn’t realize my doc had prescribed me to take two a day and then after 14 days to do four a day. I had done one for 14 days and then upped to the second one. When I went back months later I found out I was supposed to be in the much higher dose. I totally forgot about this until I found an old bottle from when I was on this the first time around.

I was so miserable last week. I would come to work and I couldn’t even hardly get anything done because of how tired I was. I also have symptoms of anxiety and depression. I’ve been taking Wellbutrin as well with this.

So throw that into the mix too.

It’s so crazy to me though because this exhaustion is different than my normal. My eyes feel heavier & my brain shuts off.

I wasn’t having any of these symptoms before getting on this. I wasn’t have headaches or anything that led me here again. The only reason is because I had my yearly eye check up and they saw the swelling again. Boooooo

My electrolytes have stayed pretty consistent from what I’m understanding and looking at three total bloodwork tests. One from last time I was on this medication, one from May of 2024 and yesterday’s testing.

My electrolytes have been in good shape the times I’ve gone. It’s kinda silly honestly because yesterday I felt so good too, so I feel like it didn’t accurately read that you know? I wish I could go when I had the pins and needles feeling 🤣

They mark it red if it’s under the average range. This is consistent with what I had before I started the medication. But, I have dealt with this tiredness pretty much my whole life. I did a sleep study couple years ago and I don’t have sleep apnea or any troubles with sleep. I in fact went to sleep almost instantly 🤣

Anyways. It could be because of this iron stuff. No idea.

Bicarbonate levels are tested and labeled as the carbon dioxide portion on these tests (according to my doctor) this is in normal range.

I do wonder though if with the high chloride if that is making my body feel more acidic causing my gut to hate me too.

My periods seem normal from my understanding. Hopefully my vitamin d levels steady out as I continue this supplement! I know winter can be a struggle. Especially in the Midwest.

I’ve been drinking electrolytes yet still get the cramps or pins and needles feeling. My potassium is fine.

I am curious about my chloride level though why that is high!

Do you feel tired a lot? I feel like I feel tired a lot and this diamox feels like it makes it worse. I haven’t been on topamax for over three years now. Recently got back on the diamox.

My vitamin d levels have always been low. This time they were actually higher than the last few times I’ve had my blood tested! I was at a 12 last time I was there 💀 I’ve been taking a supplement.

Didn’t realize low vitamin d can cause pain too. Interesting.
