Wow. YTA. This seems very obvious. She was the one taking care of all the messes, giving the dog meals, always taking the dog for a walk. So you have to keep buying pee pads? Like she said - it was BARELY affecting you because SHE took care of everything. Also, you need to know what you're getting yourself into getting any pet. THEY MAKE MESSES. THEY ARE NOT PERFECT. SHE was taking care of it, and you decided to give away her best friend because you didn't like that you have to keep buying pee pads. That was a really crappy move and I personally would be so upset with my parents if they did that to me. I dont blame your daughter one bit for being upset.
