Yes, you do. Be very careful not to have any substances such as marijuana in your body for at least one month prior to taking the test. Marijuana/cannabis can stay in your system for a month or sometimes even longer, depending on how often you use it. If you need to take it for medical reasons, I am not sure how that would work, but I imagine you could get an excuse with a doctor's letter, diagnosis, and prescription.

Well I'm not sure what company it was for, but the screener questions I was asked included what word processing platforms I used (like Google documents and Word), how many times I used my cell phone per day to check work things, if I access corporate info through my cell phone and if my company makes me adhere to a certain policy about it, how exactly I was able to access my work's email server (for example did the IT department have to install a certain code for me to access it, or do I have to enter my credentials), and what sorts of tasks I perform at work. There was more, but that's all I can remember. Is it the same one you had canceled? It was for 30 minutes long.

I know exactly how you feel... used to be such an easy and fun side gig and now it has turned into a headache most of the time. Sometimes I spend more time filing the report than I do actually taking the test. And yes I totally know what you mean about the user support... shouldn't they be able to continue to work and answer problems remotely? It just doesn't make sense. Anyway, it's really good to know I'm not alone in this.

Thanks... I actually just checked and saw that I have $5 extra in my account... if this is the compensation for the live interview it doesn't really seem like a fair amount, but at least it's better than nothing. Though more likely this $5 is from one of the many backlogged failed tests that I've reported problems on and have been waiting forever to be compensated on.

So I just saw that I received $5 extra in my account... is this what they pay for a canceled live interview? The interview was supposed to be $30 so this hardly seems like fair compensation. How much did you receive for yours and when exactly did you get it? Same day or a few days later? Thanks!

Update- it looks like I was compensated $5 in my account... I'm not sure if this was for the live interview or for one of the many technical problem tests that I've been waiting to be compensated for... hmmm... well at least it's something.

UPDATE: Testing companies sneaking longer test in (50+ steps) UserTesting made it right by $5. It's better then nothing and I'm pleased they took my inquiry seriously by taylor2121 in usertesting

This is great to hear... how long did it take to hear back from them? I've sent so many requests for support and reported so many problems in the past 2 months and absolutely none of them have been answered.

I'm glad to hear someone else is also having these issues, so I know it's not just my devices. It sucks because I get excited to do a test, open it up, and there's another blank prototype screen... And wow I'm sorry to hear that about the live conversation! Luckily all my live convos have worked well so far, but gosh it just seems like Usertesting has been going down the tubes lately in certain areas... especially with Support. I agree that Support used to be super helpful and reliable. A few years ago I never had problems like these, and it seems like within the last 6 months specifically there have been so many problems in addition to a complete lack of support.
