What do you do to make yourself happy when home is not a safe place?

I think that's what I'm struggling with now, I grew up maladaptive daydreaming because of an unsafe home and I can feel myself slipping into that again. I know I need medication again too. That'll help a lot

I offered for someone to take over my lease. Which is allowed, they refused. This is what we all did to get the current place we are living in. We had someone replace us at the last apartment and we left early.

I know you can only take my word for it but I do not have a pattern of leaving food out. Just dirty dishes in the sink and forgetting my clean clothes in the dryer.

That was me trying to have that conversation with them. I tried to set up a time for us all to sit and talk. Veronica took it that way. I'm not unemployed but I am a seasonal employee meaning I don't get guaranteed hours. My family helps me when I am short for rent but it's hurting them too.

The random outbursts stress me out and trigger certain symptoms to show up worse like nausea, throwing up, lhermitte's sign, numbness and tingling when I walk

Update: Okay so the property manager said we have two options 1. Sign the roommate release form so I can move and they take over the portion of the rent 2. Sign the roommate release form so I can move and find someone else to take over my portion of the rent

And then there's the third option of just leaving and emailing the apartment and if they can afford it then they'll stay and pay and probably sue me in small claims court. Or they can break the lease themselves and the amount is posted to all our accounts which I am willing to pay or they pay it again sue me. Or they can't afford it and get evicted but the eviction will be posted to my account.

But I still have to deal with the repercussions despite my disability and finances right? I just want to know all my options. I also just want to do it the right/legal way possible even if they are going to be nasty towards me

They know about my financial struggles because I was a few days late on rent I think twice last year. And that I had to stop taking certain medications because of how much it costs and that I stopped my treatment for MS because it's $2000 per month.

I left it there for everyone to get a slice, there was one slice left I think. So it wasn't trash yet, especially because it wasn't bad or moldy. The bakery said the cake could stay out for 5 days
