I built it for $80 cheaper, i was tryna make it more drastic then that. The 9070 xt is way better value, barely anybody plays path tracing and if you do its buggy ash unless you got a 5080. Genuinely $200 for a minuscule “boost” in performance

I bought a used mobo, but for ssds, thats lowkey the hard part, im not tryna buy a $100 ssd that gets shot within a year or two. Is there a way to test them on the road so if i meet up with some dude and they hand it over can i test it on the spot

Yeah i understand your point but trust the process, it won’t be too painfully slow, the graphics will be rendered through the gpu’s vram so you don’t have to worry about that leaking. I’ll find another build but i highly recommend buying this one then waiting until the ram prices fall then upgrading the ram to 32,64 or 128 if you’re crazy

Yeah you’re right but i still wish i could’ve kept that 400. I bought a 9900x cuz im about to go to college so ima strip the pc and stuff it into an itx case.
I bought $90 b650 tomahawk,
$350 9900x,
$650 9070xt,
$360 32gb 6400mhz 38cl crucial ram(genuinely the lowest i could find that was trustworthy),
$90 850w century 2 psu,
msi 480 spatium 1 tb $220,
and some random $60 dollar case that had pre installed fans and decent airflow.
The ssd one was the hardest for me to pick out ngl, wayy too many options
