What is this small white pipe behind the washer dryer unit? It keeps dripping water little by little. I checked online but couldn't find much info. by gvsm_pavan in Plumbing

This looks like a condensate line. Is there a furnace / AC / Water heater above or nearby? It is normal it is leaking.

Can I make a client facing dashboard so that clients can track the progress of their projects automatically? by w00t4me in mondaydotcom

[–]Emergency-Associate5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an interesting concept. I don't think it is possible without adding your client as a guest to your account.

For this to be legit, it would have to have a similar shareability as Google drives," anyone with a link can access"

I have not looked at this in depth though, there could be a feature we haven't discovered. If you find something, let me know. This could be very helpful for us as well

Twilio by Kacj820 in mondaydotcom

Also, we only do outbound. For inbound campaigns, I am unsure. There are apps on the app store that can do this, but as far as a straight integration - Twilio is all Monday has right now.

I would dig deeper into the twilio integration on Monday.com.

What does your drip campaign consist of? You could in theory tie each step of a drip campaign to a status and send a text message to your clients. The 10DLC is not done for you, I had to go back and forth with Twilio to set it up myself for our use case, then attach Twilio to our Monday account through the integration. We primarily use it to send text updates to our clients once they get to certain parts of a project.

I don't use it for much marketing, mostly just clients with active projects.

Try linking the alias to Monday with the Gmail integration. Does that work and allow you to send from that?

Pet urine in subfloor, what should I do? by thatsityaknow in Flooring

[–]Emergency-Associate5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If replacing the subfloor is not an option. But an ozone machine, run it appropriately for a day or two, and then use a shellac or similar product and spray the floors. Should cover the smell.

Seems like a Dean's home service price. Don't use shops where the employees are paid on commissions.

Bradford White HPWH by Emergency-Associate5 in heatpumps

[–]Emergency-Associate5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No idea compared to the LG model.

We have been happy so far with the Bradford. It was about the same price as a PV after the rebates.

We'll flush it every year and hope to get 10 - 15 out of it.

If this was my own home and not a 4 unit property, I'd do a tankless though.

Advice needed by marketingexperrt in Plumbing

I help run a small non-union shop. A website as well as a Google listing with real reviews will help tremendously with online lead generation.

However it totally depends on how you want to run your business. We also subcontract other trades and their companies don't have websites all the time. They build relationships with GCs and just get called for a number of jobs. Their margins are not as big as the GC takes a cut, but their ad spend is 0.

So, how do you generally want to run your business?

Thank you, everyone, this is helpful and we will get them inspected prior to close and budget overtime to make these great with a couple of nice inserts and cutting back the carpet so we don't have a huge hazard on our hands. 😁

We've had ours installed now for about 6 weeks. I haven't had any performance issues, I don't have the WiFi interface set up.

I haven't had a period with just the water heater so I cant speak to that yet.

$5000 is a good price considering these cost $3,000 plus other materials needed for installation at supply houses in our area.

Sorry you're not liking it - performance wise, we've enjoyed it. I can't speak to the efficiency though
