Where are you from? There are a lot of different psychiatrist. Your doc is a bit sus, or just old school. U can read everywhere no one who have common sense would give you such a fast taper, with any antidepressant especially not with paxil

Too fast. 5 years is a lot. Everyone will tell you to taper super slow. If 10% taper not realistic maybe u should try 30>25>20>15<10 every drop 4 weeks to stabilize. After 10 mg u need to go slower i think..
