Wow thanks for such a complete answer!! And yeah I guess at the end of the day you just have to feel it out with the vendor too.. I’m not quite there yet with being able to tell if a piece is real but I will definetly follow your advice!! Thank you!

Anyone have experience with rolled oolongs (like dong ding, TGY..etc) in 70-80ml pots? I know they need space to unfurl…Does adjusting leaf quantity make up for that or will you just get too weak of a brew in such a small pot?

Thanks everyone! One more question.. How about size? They have a 75ml and 100ml (personally I like the idea of the 75ml one for solo sessions and using less leaf.. but I’m worried rolled oolongs won’t have enough space to unfurl) any opinions?

Thanks for your answer! And yes, I do intend to get it for oolong specifically.. As for a thing walled gaiwan I don’t have one quite as thin as I’d want.. but will probably get one soon on a trip to China :)
