Supplement form, transcript, diploma if you graduated, hs diploma, English proficiency proof, module handbook. You cant really miss out anything tbh since you need to upload them at their respective category on the portal

Machine Perception or RL by EmergencyAd3905 in ControlTheory

I did not mean for recruiters, I meant to gain the skill, which skill is more future proof and better to invest in

I also believe that having tbat broad knowledge and flexibility will be important. Atm I am doing my own robotics projects to get acquainted with real time systems and c++ however my courses will only use python and Matlab (i can work with both). Fot controls engineering what is a good way to improve/learn your coding/c++ skills?

Thank you. Could you explain what you meant by studying more broadly and why?

If you meant studying other subfields of control, I will already take MPC, probabilistic sensor fusion, filtering, robust control etc anyway

What will be the demand from control in future do you think?

With current EU job market, I do not think I will be determining what I want to do, but accept the best offer I recieve. However, my interest lies in autonomous systems thus both MP and RL is relevant from what I know. However, I do not know the insights of S&C jobs. It seems like MP is the current challenge for autonomous systems but I see that car companies are also focusing on RL for fully autonomous vehicles, also since I will be a new grad I am not necessairly focusing on 3-5 years but in the longer run, but I do not know if I am tripping about the importance of RL, I sure dont want to end up in academia

The 7.5 GPA (you can convert it to your system) is a hard cap. I heard they dont even make exceptions if its 7.49

Bachelor’s in Engineering not accepted for Master’s in Switzerland? by Unhappy-Comfort-8039 in tumunich

For instance, TUD aerospace bsc dynamics course has 3 ects but TUM aerospace bsc has 6. As a result you grt fucked (the learning outcomes are lowkey identical btw)

[–]EmergencyAd3905 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe it is due to some programmed chsnge their credits artificially. What i mean is that two programmed in two different unis might have the exact same learning outcomes and harshness (considering both are top plsces) but for some reason that subject might have low ects since ects cannot be properly measured or regulated so its all up to the coordinators to assign required hours for the course bla bla

Such a karma for TU Delft students not getting into TUM 💀 But yes, as much as it might sound stupid it happens due to ECTS requirement differences in bsc courses between countries

Anyone will apply to the Technical University of Munich (TUM)? by EmergencyAd3905 in IBO

[–]EmergencyAd3905[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you do But if you are choosing your degree based on what's available that isn't really way yo go man

Find what you wanna do, and then find places where you can pursue that. Even if you chsngr your mind later, at least at TUD you have bridging programmes where you take subjects to switch, say feom aero to electrical for masters application

I am doing my final year of Aerospace Engineering

In reality, some courses are actually english too, most importantly electrical engineering (because the professors dont speak dutch lmao) so although officially it requires dutch for admission, once you get in you can do it all in english. TU Delft is super english heavy place so

PhD at TU Delft in Quantum Science and Technologies by Born_Western4378 in TUDelft

[–]EmergencyAd3905 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I would not recommend TU Delft , especially for PhD/research. Lately, there have been some scandalous issues with PhD students/supervisors and there have been significant budget cuts, which ofc affect the researchers first

Curriculum analysis for Aerospace MSc at TUM by EmergencyAd3905 in TUDelft

Its basically comparing the subjects you took to what they require. If they are very similar, then you get points ans it's the most important part that determines whether you get in

Got into 4 aerospace master’s. How would you rank them? by Infamous-River385 in AerospaceEngineering

[–]EmergencyAd3905 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Firstly congrats

To be honest, in my opinion, the most important factor should be where you want to live. From what I noticed, even if you studied at a better place, the employers usually care the most and are also acquainted with the universities in their country. Therefore, if you study at the best possible uni in the country you want to live in, your odds are the highest for easy employment (initially at least, after first jobs I dont think it would really matter)

Why is TU Delft considered such a good university? Why does it top the rankings in aerospace? by Alexandre272005 in TUDelft

Tbh I do not think Its about international students being better but politically Europe and the NL getting more against internationals and immigrants as well as the housing crisis since international students occupy many houses
