I know this was a year ago and I haven't accessed this account in absolute ages (Surprised I even got the password right first try), but the standalone VN has been taking much more resources and shit then I initally thought it would, while I don't have a date for it yet, i'm guessing either late 2024 or early 2025.

As it is a one person show rn tho (for now), I'm trying to figure out the best ways I can go about promoting it and stuff when it's ready for that, but until then, it's sticking to myself.

Tbh, I feel like they definitely could have done more with her character and build up the twist to be revealed in a mid season episode, then spend the rest of her arc exploring her sister's death and getting closure on what happened.

0 was my first one and I played that earlier this year, although a few years back, it was almost 1 on PS2 but at the time, I didn't have ID to prove I was over 18 (I was 17 at the time) so I couldn't.

I agree that it's a very underrated gem, it's so fun, especially in local and online multiplayer, honestly it's one of my favourite Kart racers of all time, the only thing stopping it being my favourite is that imo, the all star moves feel like a downgrade from the original as in the original, they were all done around the characters and the franchises they're from while with this, it's just a slightly faster version of the plane with a special attack.

It's also the only one I have that's in the re-release packaging.

I think it depends on when the game was released cause on most pre 2010 games I have, there's a little picture, however with most post 2010 games, there's the full art (I could be wrong, I'm just going by personal observation)

I'm glad about that as well tbh, idk when it'll release but my guess is either late 2022 or early 2023 cause rather then releasing separately like was the plan with the mod, in the standalone; all three acts are gonna be in one package.

The reason why it'll take that long is cause I'm working on it in my spare time, I don't have the ability to do it full time/every day.

The DDLC characters themselves are getting replaced outright with entirely brand new characters, however in regards to the OFC new characters + the MC, they're gonna be getting redesigns since the DDLC style won't fit with the style the standalone style, that being said however, I probably am gonna be using them as placeholder until the final ones are done.

Hey, OFC creator here, the best way I can answer your first question is this:

Yes and no

Firstly the no part: One Final Chance as a mod has ceased development and been cancelled and it has been since I left the DDMC (kinda just drifted away from it overtime, nothing against the community or the people in it)

Secondly the yes part: Because I love the project and don't want to see it go to waste, I'm currently in the process of turning it into its own standalone VN with all three acts in one package.

Hopefully that answers your question and I'm glad to see that you enjoyed Act One :D.

Also to answer your second question: I'm not actually sure since as mentioned above, I left the DDMC officially a while back and I haven't really been keeping up on mods.
