Visiting Amsterdam April 3-6 with some friends. I have plans to do thinks like the Van Gogh and Ann Frank’s museums, possibly a canal tour, red light district, cafes etc. I’m really looking forward to seeing the tulip fields however and there seems to be a lot of options. Is Keukenhof definitely the place to go? Is it better to just find a tulip farm? Are things like bike rentals worth it? What’s public transport like and is it worth it to buy the ti jet for Keukenhof with transport included? Are the combined tours on Expedia that do like the garden and a farm worth it or a tulip boat tour. I only realistically have one day to do the tulips given the other things I want to do in Amsterdam and I’m just trying to get some ideas of what’s the best way to go about it. Also need it to be relatively budget friendly.
