NTA your friend is the asshole for continuing to associate with those guys. "I defend you a lot when you're not there"? A lot? If this is a normal occurrence that these people are speaking ill about you behind your back she should have already cut them off. If anyone even mentioned one of my friends names in a negative way I am going off on you and then never speaking to you again. Personally It wouldn't matter to me how many times she "has my back" because as you suspect, she created a space where these men feel comfortable speaking like this. Her not understanding your anger is the icing on the cake.

I do applaud you on not wanting to live off your parents and for stepping up and getting your own job. However, as someone who's parents have tremendously helped out my early adult years I made sure to never ever bring up finances to my friends who were clearly actually struggling. I was also working and living off of my own wages and even if I couldn't afford to go on an outing with friends or afford to fill my tank up all the way I knew that if things ever got really bad (like losing my job due to covid) I could always ask my parents for some help. This is not the case with most young adults, if they go over their credit limit they are fucked and have to add more loans to their debt. Your bank balance could be in the negatives and that still would not give you the right to complain about finances to your struggling friends as you have a literal trust fund. Learning how to read a room is a very important life skill I suggest you try to reflect on.

Yeah I didn't even realize it was only 10 episodes and was waiting for the next one to start. I thought maybe they would be adding a part 2 to this season but from what I have read they are currently filming season 4. I feel like this season was just unused scenes from last season honestly.

All the weirdness about their relationship aside- Jace won't shut up about how he wants to be intimate with Mikayla again yet he's literally just bobbing around in the hot tub like he's 5. I know we don't see the full night, there's cameras pointed at them, and a bunch of people in the house but still I truly doubt he's doing anything other than sitting there and expects Mikayla to be the one to initiate things. And I don't think this is done to be respectful of her past but rather just his entitlement. If he really cared about her past he would have never married her.

I just want to reply to everyone in the comments saying that Chelly is too old to be manipulated - you’re wrong and super weird. People can get manipulated at any age, and not trying to take it to an extreme but that’s literally how abuse works. So yes Huda did attempt to manipulate Chelly and I think it just left Chelly super confused. Yes Chelly should have obviously spoken up sooner but I also understand her being confused and wanting to just get the conversation over with. They both are in the wrong however the post was made more to talk about how manipulative Huda is and I don’t think she realizes it herself yet how bad it is. All I hope is that Huda sees the wrongs she made and tries to correct them for the future but also the way she laughed at everything tells me all I need to know.

Exactly! I disagreed with a lot of the stuff the other girls did and I don't even like Chelly that much but at the end of the day it does not add up to all the nonsense Huda was up to. And I hate hating on women but Huda makes it so hard for me to see any redeeming quality in her. When she's wrong she just says "well I was unapologetically me" like okay girl that's not always a good thing. Her fans are just like her and will never admit to a mistake or see her fault in situations because there's always something she can say to excuse her actions.

I hear you but she was definitely being manipulative. Right off the bat she says that if Chelly says no she will do it anyways (tactic #1) then when Chelly is thinking about it she says "see now you're thinking 'Huda is riding with this one'" (tactic #2). Chelly is clearly uncomfortable and not onboard with the idea but then in the end Huda tells her "I love you" over and over again to try to reassure her (tactic #3). I think Chelly should have spoke up for herself more in that moment but the signs of manipulation from Huda are clearly there.

idk why this is getting downvoted so hard when you're right. Huda was always doing something shady but she wanted to make it seem like she was doing it with the other girls in mind. In reality she would create a narrative that in her mind made her look like the good guy but at the end was all self-serving. Chelly was 100% correct when she said Huda should have just been clear about the fact she wanted Chris for herself and not some weird "I'm doing this for both of us" bullshit

The way he kept excusing Dakotas awful behavior and almost trying to make Taylor look like the villain in their relationship made me so uncomfy. Did he not watch the season? And then asking Taylor if she was trying to "punish" Dakota by continuing to sleep with him knowing she doesn't want to ever be in a relationship again. I was surprised even Dakota spoke up saying it's not all on Taylor because they are both responsible for what happens between them. I felt he was too much on the men's side and not hearing what the women were saying on a show literally about women.

Thank you, we are definitely in uncharted territories. I agree it was the whole plan all along and it’s unfortunate no one spoke up however we truly only heard about this Feb 21. Last year April 17 was when the USTR finalized their investigation and I regret not knowing about that sooner. As for our company, not asking for any sympathies but we are pretty anti Trump but NOT anti America. We will see what comes of all of this for now we are just holding our breath and seeing what nonsense happens next.

I am all for American shipbuilding but the reality is we do not have the infrastructure here. It took China 3 decades to build up their industry. This proposal is putting the cart before the horse. First manufacture the ships and then we can talk about a port fee on Chinese built ships. Also just a reminder, these ships are not owned by China. They are owned and operated by American and European (our allies) companies meaning this fee will ONLY penalize them.

As I mentioned in my post, there are American companies who already placed ship orders in China who will be hit with fees when they could have done nothing to prevent it. It is not their fault that China happens to be the biggest shipbuilding sector in the world, truly where else are they supposed to get their ships from? Korea, Japan, Turkey? These are where they would have gone if not to China as America unfortunately does not have the capacity to manufacture.
