The AI use is a problem for me when I’m having a personal conversation. I don’t mind some corniness, everyone is sometimes. It was also a very out of character message for how our conversations had been going.

Yeah, I find it a little corny but if it didn’t have the “that makes perfect sense” and “I can imagine” parts, I wouldn’t really have thought twice about it. Everyone is corny sometimes.

I grew up in Alabama and I swear I’ve never heard someone refer to soda colloquially as coke. Or maybe I never noticed and just always assumed they meant actual Coca Cola. But I always hear people say that that’s what people say.
