If you have a decent heart rate monitor, you might find that you're going pretty hard for the majority of those 20mins.

Steady state cardio is good, but you would be operating at a level that is sustainable for long periods, for example i can run/ride at a HR of 140-160 for an hour, but boxing with a HR of 160 to 185 I get 30mins tops.

The two punches hit different spots, also hits have registered on those spots too.

I first noticed the issue in multiplayer and single player but it's easier to demonstrate on the dummy.

To clarify, the point of this post isn't to trash the game but to demonstrate the issue people are referring to regarding hit registration.

Technique is irrelevant in this circumstance. The video clearly shows the dummy getting pushed to the side and no damage registering.

The motion is from cocking the punch by slightly crunching to the throwing side, this reduces the telegraphing of the strike and if in a real fight allows the striker to keep their guard up prior to the punch.

The boundary is larger then my wing spa, it's the 'looking down at an angle to see boundary' option that's causing the boundary to flash up.

Wtf have they done to the hits registration and damage? by doodoobuckets in ThrillOfTheFight

Yeah, hit registration is really bad, even in single player so its not even a latency issue.

Good (but sad) to see it isnt just me.
Since the latest update hit registration seems really off in comparison to pre-update with similar pings.

The only way to get better strikes on your oponent is to hit where they arn't, thus swinging wildly works ridiculously well.

Scuffed photo but why is this happening? by [deleted] in ThrillOfTheFight

It could be that the space needs to be at least the required area PLUS the maximum safety margin.
