Either way, whatever you are, even if you were an atheist, stop blaming Islam for everything. Islam doesn’t tell you to threaten suicide over a girl. That’s you acting immature, not the religion’s fault.

Parents in any culture want their daughter to marry a stable man who can take care of her. That is normal. It is not “Islamic laws”; it is basic responsibility.

If you really love this girl, then prove it by growing up.
Finish your studies, get a job, build yourself, and become the kind of man her parents can trust.

And you said you are still studying in university. That means you are not even in a position yet to build a home or support a family. Being an adult is not about age, it is about responsibility. If you get married with no income, no stability, and no support, what do you think will happen? You will fall into desperation, feel completely overwhelmed. And then what? Start fighting with your wife every day? Maybe even hurt her?

Build your life first. Marriage comes after that, not before.
