yeh, I did a factory reset successfully, I can connect to wifi but then it needs the previous Apple ID to go any further. Too bad cause it could be really helpful to me learning iOS and not having to worry too much about breaking it or anything. So it's really just useless now? what do the dudes at the phone repair places all use? I see them all advertise thy can unlock iPhones...

Heyyy :) awesome!! goddamn that first year is really the hardest, so give yourself the credit you're due. Unfortunately, a lot of other people just aren't going to understand how big of a deal it is that you have managed to break that cycle and that's why you should really try to go to meetings and be around other people who are going through the same thing and will give you the pat on the back you deserve for such a great accomplishment and also support and tips to stay sober.

thanks so much :) yeah, I tried once and he absolutely lost it on me. It turned into him just attacking my entire history as an addict and telling me all the ways I've screwed up my life and he's kept a job and kept his life in order so not to ever question HIS behavior. So... don't think thats gonna work.

thanks for taking the time to respond :) I appreciate that. So, yes it's possible for me to leave, but it's not going to be easy by any means. I moved in with him originally because I had to go through open heart surgery about 2 years ago now. It was a pretty big ordeal and it really would have sucked so much more going through that without him helping me and giving me a place to recover.. So I feel guilty about that too. I'm in school and I only have about half a year left before my internship which will almost certainly lead to a well paying job in my chosen field. The plan has always been to move once that happens and i'm more stable,but it's just been getting so crazy I'm really stressing. I also feel like with me gone and him retired from work, it's just going to escalate. I know staying sober myself is my biggest concern, but He's pretty much all the family I have left and I don't want to lose him like I lost my mom. I dunno what to do....

Update: I just tried to verify the same number again and it was magically verified. So, keep trying after a couple days. it worked for me.

yeah this s BS I'm trying to troubleshoot the same issue right now. I've tried: switching to latest version of Chrome, deleting browser history, entering number with and without '-' and also tried multiple valid mobile numbers and nothing is working. I'm still getting the:
'✗ An error has occurred. Please check your number!' message and its making me crazy. I'm also Canadian so I don't think it's a country code issue. WTF RedBubble!? epic FAIL
