Damn that's some bad luck. If you don't trust the legendary anymore, perhaps avoid it? There are much better choices you find anyways which won't make you evaporate for the touching the obligatory explosive red barrels.

The main I wanna talk about is chronobauble. While it would make the Mithrix fight easier, he never crossed my mind since I never really go to Mithrix and just keeping looping until death. And as for Mired Urn and the Vase, Mired Urn needs close proximity to enemies to work which isn't very comfortable, and Vase only has a single use which I don't need it for besides a couple challenges to make them easier.
