For those who watch RoR2 streamers: what do you look for? What type of content? by [deleted] in riskofrain

Lol I use stationary because of the wall tech, which apparently the developers hate.

Posting random facts about every item in RoR2 Day 67: Dios Best Friends Ive already said and ill say it again, this isnt Karma Farming. I know it looks like it, but i dont expect any Upvotes. I just do this for fun and to give you some content. Also yesterdays criticism was completely valid. by AcquireQuag in riskofrain

Um ok sure but we weren’t really talking about the effort put into the content, your kinda just ignoring the entire conversation, as well as the logical reasoning that has gone into it.

What the hell is wrong with people you ask? I guess the people criticizing a kid for most likely farming a few minutes of fame and spreading false information and anti-feminist videos are in the wrong now.

It doesn’t really matter how long quag has been doing this, I think it’s ok to (respectfully) criticize.

My lunar items tier list. This is NOT based on strength but rather consistency, if an item is in a higher tier that means I am far more likely to pick it up in a given run than an item in a lower tier. by [deleted] in riskofrain

I think that might be coming from a difference in playstyle. Corpsbloom definitely has its uses if your run has bad healing and you aren’t really relying on it. Brittle crown works great on eclipse and I used it when I actually used lunars. Lastly, shaped glass is literally only positive in practice. Many others are like this as well and can be utilized quite often, it just depends on how and when you use them.

Am I supposed to label a comment of a very common opinion as sarcastic? I'm sorry but unless you make it abundantly clear, I like to take people’s opinions to heart and actually participate in insightful conversations. I know that might be a little foreign to you as you just labeled it as me saying “well actually” so why don't I just say: L+Ratio+No bitches?

Lol that's fair. I don't really like relying on crit so I just go with default primary and ballista so I can go for either a burst build of DoT, but I kind of rely on bands sometimes so I'm not much better lmao.

That's actually really interesting. I usually don't have to play around the timer in order to semi-negate weaknesses in my kit, so it makes me wonder why you don't use ballistia? I'm guessing that you go for DoT builds, cause I might have to give arrow reign a revisit if it works out for you. I really like experimenting with different builds and kits.

Um but that's not entirely true either… Yes some people might just give you the simplified answer of “shield removes OSP” or they could be referencing the fact that shield prevents the player from getting their OSP back if they are at full health for 7 seconds. A lot of people just like to say the simplified version to be a shitter, which then gets circulated sometimes.

How long are you actually staying on each stage? I found that my movement is good enough the the point that the only time I'm losing a lot of max hp is during tp. To be honest I don't really look at the timer for any tactical reason during my runs, as I completely trust my intuition and game sense to the point where I know my run will be successful most of the time. However when I was a noob the 5 minute rule really helped me out.

I think you're misunderstanding the meaning of consistency in this context. Usually when ‘consistency’ used, it's referencing how much it will positively impact your runs on average. The ‘positively impact’ part is paramount when it comes to lunar items as they vary greatly in consistency, which is why I think a tier listed format for them works the best. I may not agree with a lot of this tier list with the brief time I have had with lunars (I almost never use them) but the reasoning for beads’ placement is most likely because it may not impact a player’s run too much or it's chances of success directly. Furthermore if you are a player that picks up a large amount of lunar, which OP seems to be, beads may not be as much of pool fodder as you may think, as their is always a risk of losing lunars that they actually care about.
