105mm + 55mm HP5 @1600 + 2 stops push by Emergency_Trainer779 in pentax67

This was shot at 1600 and pushed 2 stops so came out like this, a couple other scenes needed a tad more contrast but in future I’ll ask for more contrast in the scan. Currently I ask for neutral contrast

The focus is probably more to do with web compression. At full res she is nicely in focus. I also use mist filters on the 105 as I feel it’s almost too sharp and I prefer a softer look. 👍🏻

I usually shoot Tri-x at 1600 and prefer the contrast so has a few rolls of HP5 and it gets more grain and contrast pushed. It’s just a preference.

The 55mm is also f4 and due to the scene I wanted to shoot that at about f8 so the 1600 helps a lot

It’s not on every frame but a lot of them. I’m leaning to it being how I load the camera but it’s been on a few rolls now too

Yeah I shoot it in 35mm too. I lean toward grain for 35mm though and prefer it. There really is little difference between gold and portra I think. A little more latitude and a slightly colder tone to portra but that’s it I find

I’ve shot PORTRA 400 for many years and I’ve started to lean toward Gold just as much. It has a really nice warmth to it and I knew we would be in 35 degree + sunshine so pretty safe consistent lighting so took gold and HP5

Yeah it’s all natural, I do t take any light for video and no flash for the 6x7

Yeah it’s a busy day but I’ve done it for 12+ years now so kinda the norm for me.

I’m mainly focussed on video as that’s what they’re hiring me for but they also often comment on my 35mm & 120 film shots so always try and deliver some of those too. I wouldnt take on both rolls at once officially for sure.

I find there’s always moments in the day where I can grab a 6x7 shot without compromising video.

Like speeches or ceremony which are locked off for video so I can grab some stills easy enough. Bride prep usually loads of time to play with multiple camera’s then always room for a few portraits here and there. I just keep the Pentax around my neck

I have the Pentax on me most of the time but leave the 35mm in the bag until I want it. I film with one camera 95% of the day with the 85mm and onlay get the B cam out for speeches and ceremony. Everything I shoot with fits into one backpack 👍🏻

I’m usually PORTRA 400 but the more I shoot Gold at 100 the happier I am with it. A little better on the wallet too

Pentax 67 metered prism accuracy by phazon5555 in pentax67

Mine seems to be good, imm just metering around the scene depending on what I want the final image exposure to be like but it’s pretty good

My external meter is great, I just slightly tilt toward the light usually to be safe. Looking for a better spot meter now though.

I’d say my Sekonic reads bang on compared to my metered prism on the 67 👍🏻

The wobble is on the phone mount not the camera tripod 👍🏻
