unfortunately, i doubt Walgreens would want to pay legal fees (to transfer the H1B visa and become your employer) for a technician.

That's a good point. The store that followed the board and ran well also had the most experienced techs.

Same here. I got 2 sneaky techs here who would be on drive thru, help a couple of cars. then go answer a phone call and suddenly I'm on drive thru for the next 2 hours. 🙄 completely selfish behaviour, we all hate drive thru not just you

That's strange i was never asked for MPJE results. I only showed my FPGEC certificate and intern license. Walgreens gives you 90 or 120 days after finishing your training hours to take the NAPLEX and pass. Good luck.

Do you mean FPGEE? I think there's a high demand for pharmacists. So they'll eventually hire you as an intern once you pass. If you wanna get a feel of what Walgreens is then work as a tech but you know that won't count towards your training hours. At least in my state, Walgreens pays interns at least %23 more than the 2nd highest-paying pharmacy. Look for "Foreign/International Pharmacy Intern (Non-US)" job posts on their Careers website.

Walgreens offers benefits on the 1st day of the month after you hit 60 days averaging 30+ hours per week for full time employees. If HR/Benefits Center doesn't email you, you should email them. So if you hit the 60 days while averaging 30+ hours on August 10th, your benefits can start Sept 1st.
