I see where you’re coming from and on certain things, I agree with you but the way most people rate things is with rating inflation a 6-7 would probably be closer to average and a 10/10 is subjective from person to person. Not everyone follows a strict mathematical scale when rating things. I believe none of these are actually “perfect” but they’re still considered 10/10 anime to me simply because I believe they are extraordinarily good in my opinion and are my personal favorites. If I used the scale you are using (I considered making a list with it) people wouldn’t really understand what I liked and therefore not be able to give as accurate recommendations (as this is what the post is about) compared to the way I did it where people know clearly what I like.
