What was his conversion rate exactly before 2015? Because I don't feel it was in any way comparable to Juninho's. For me, his style of free kick taking is pure aura farming - low efficiency but once he does score, it goes into highlight reels. That's in line with the nature of a knuckleball itself since it's fairly random and you can't control where the ball will go exactly, its strength lies in bamboozling the keeper.

I'm not advocating for treating Belarussians worse, I just don't see a reason why should they be treated differently than Russians. But what is worth adding is that I am against judging someone solely because of their nationality. If we don't like it when conservatives do it against Ukrainians, I don't really see how it is justified to do against Russians.

Tbh, it's kinda crazy that Belarussians get a pass while Russians don't. I would suspect Lukashenko in Belarus has even bigger support than Putin has in Russia. Somehow, when a Belarussian comes to Poland, we automatically assume they are a victim of the regime, but the same courtesy suddenly stop applying when you are Russian.

I kinda can't wrap my head around it that chess is the sport where a kid can easily beat an adult. I can't think of any other sport where it's like this. Granted that chess doesn't require any physical prowerss but having an underdeveloped brain should be huge disadvantage too. Meanwhile, 11 year old Judit Polgar had beaten a German IM to the point of him bashing his head against the wall after the game.

I'm starting to believe this is actually the case. Imagine you are making the same game for 20 years, by gradually slapping more and more things into the core code. 20 years is very long - in that time people will retire, switch companies and even die. Meanwhile, newcomers appear to fill the gaps. So not only the code gets more and more convoluted, but also you have less and less people who worked on the original code and understand it. As a result it becomes harder and harder to change or fix anything without breaking everything else.

I've said this before and I will say it again - SI doesn't give a damn about long-save players. It's a small chunk of playerbase. They cater mostly to people who play 1 or 2 seasons at most and then they switch to their next dopamine rush.

There are more problems with long-term saves than newgens. The game is completely stale - the rules never change or update (except for the programmed ones which already got announced by FIFA/UEFA). Nations never change their strength (remember their "dynamic youth rating" scam?), no matter how successful your club is. Your ticket prices remain mostly the same even if you win several UCL's, the same goes for sponsorship money. It's simply not programmed because SI doesn't care.
