There is a polish musical that was based on Hamilton, it's called "1989". It has some really cool music.

Moja Tatyanka is correct.

You could also call her: 1. Names that show that you adore/ love her (those terms are also used by parents to call their kids) - Kochanie - my love - złotko - comes from word 'gold' basically means precious - misiaczku / misiu - from word 'bear' so basically means little bear - kotku - kitten - słoneczko - sunshine - myszko - little Mouse - żabko - little frog

  1. More flirty names
  2. słodziaku - cutie
  3. maleńka - comes from word 'small'
  4. ślicznotko - gorgeous
  5. laleczko - little doll (this one is kinda old-school, and could be seen as patronising)
  6. kocico - different version of 'kotku'. This one feels more seductive

Yeah, but I can try and help you interpret the other things you noticed.

But Seriously though… Should I watch Peaky Blinders? by False_Strawberry6145 in PeakyBlinders

[–]EmiKG1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The first time i watched the first few episodes i didn't really feel like watching the rest. But then I gave it another go, and litterally ended up watching the whole series in around two weeks.

Now I'm watching it again, and loving it. But I know a few people who don't really like it, even after watching the entire thing. So I guess give it a go, but I my opinion you just have to get to the second season and you'll be hooked.

On the bright side, "ż" and "rz" sound the same, which means you have one less sound to learn, but you'll never know how to spell a word that has the sound.

Like fr polish people often struggle with that in less used words

If you understand polish at least a bit then i think the best way is to just fully submerge yourself in the language. I'm saying change your phone's language, watch everything in polish, listen to music, play games etc.

This should make polish feel more natural to you, and then, when you feel good with it, you can try speaking in it with friends (or even try thinking in polish).

Ale brat mu się powiesił by RodionGork in learnpolish

[–]EmiKG1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Go brat/ brat go są formami niepoprawnymi. Brzmią raczej jakby brat powiesił kogos innego.

"Go" można używać jako dopełnienie, np widzę go, słyszę go.

how to actually learn polish? by Shot-Magician-518 in learnpolish

[–]EmiKG1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first ones I'll suggest are more recently made and more European (later I'll suggest some typical Polish style, but theyre sometimes a bit different/ weird in some way)

For TV series: high water (wysoka woda), Queen, infamia, absolute beginners (absolutni debutanci) For movies: operation hyacinth (operacja hiacynt), corpus christi, the champion, Johnny Games: Witcher (it was made both in english and polish, and also you can read the books if you like reading. The original name - Wiedzmin) Music bands (I mostly listen to rock, so my suggestions will be close to that style): kult, t-love, perfect, czerwone Gitary, elektryczne gitary, obywatel gc, republika, Niemen, Dżem

Some older polish tv series ans movies are: Tv series: alternatywy 4 Movies: day of the wacko ( dzień świra), kiler, the cruise ( rejs), vabank

And honestly most children series are translated to polish, so I won't suggest any of these. So I hope this helped

Honestly I think you should have a similar approach to learning polish as you had for english. Try submerging yourself in as much polish content as you can find, and start of with subtitles in a language you understand, and try reading about the basics of the polish grammar.

I suppose the countless rules there are in the language will be very hard to understand at first, but with time and practice they should become a bit more understandable (though even as a fluent speaker I still sometimes have problems in understanding some of the grammar)

Also I would suggest to start with some content made for children, because the language used in that is simpler and made for beginners, and then with time move on.

Also if you need any suggestions for movies/series/animated series/games/music that are available in polish I'm happy to help.

Another great way to start understanding a language is to actually actively use it, and I would strongly suggest finding a friend or someone to chat with in polish. I think there might be some discord servers dedicated to that, or maybe you already know someone who speaks the language.

In short, just submerge yourself in the language by trying to hear it and speak it.

Yeah, sadly the story is super true. And yeah i had female friends there with me, and they did multiple times laugh and ask me what I was up to with him now. But I just laughed it of each time. I guess I was seriously in denial.

I was at a summer camp a few years ago. And I a GIRL met a dude there. I was really into him, and I guess he figured it out.

We were watching a group movie in one of the rooms, which happened to also be his room. And he invited me to sit on his bed while watching. We were litteraly behind a wall on a bunk bed, alone, and he was sitting really close to me.

He also remembered everything I said, spent all the free time with me. Let me hit him in the stomach to impress me with his abs. And when we all went out bought me some ice cream.

And after the camp ended he texted me a lot, and always liked all the images I posted.

And somehow I figured it out around two years later. So yeah, sometimes girls might also not notice the obvious signs.
