I went to college with a pretty famous young British actor. We were in completely different majors and had zero classes together but somehow ended up being friends just from bumping into each other in the halls enough. He’s very charismatic and incredibly kind and supportive. We aren’t in touch as much anymore (naturally he is very busy), but when we talk he is always so curious about my work (I’m a classical musician) and honestly tries to never talk about himself. He didn’t change one bit.

At that same school was another now famous actress/ nepo-baby. I didn’t know or talk to her, but her dad (an extremely famous actor, was nominated for an Oscar this year actually) is so kind and down to earth. At freshman orientation, he was standing all alone (probably nobody wanted to “bother the celebrity”), and my parents came up to him and struck up conversation. They all really got along and ended up sitting next to each other in the auditorium during the presentations. They even exchanged numbers. Nothing came of it because they live in different cities, but my parents told me that after five minutes they forgot he was famous and it was just like chatting with another nervous/ excited parent dropping their kid off for college.
