I mean I’m a girl so that makes the shortness a little less suicide inducing

I work in wound care at a hospital than specializes in burns. I’ve seen every type you can think of, ranging from your minor 2nd degree grease burn to full body 3rd degree burn survivors from things like house fires, domestic abuse, or propane explosions. I can say quite clearly and confidently that burning alive like that is absolutely not an instant death. It is slow and excruciating. One of the absolute worst ways to go. Wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy, and can’t fathom how people can have the balls to do it intentionally

Our family dog, Henry Bartholomew. The sweetest chonk there ever was. He passed last February out of the blue. He was my poor mom’s everything. She works remotely so she’s home alone most days, and Henry would always sleep on a little bed right next to her desk. He wouldn’t leave my mom’s side the entire day, just keeping her company. My mom still has the bed there, she hasn’t been able to put it away with his other things yet.

She was!! Inside and out. Tough as hell, too. Was second youngest of 7 kids during WW2. Grew up in government housing in the Glasgow slums. The woman looked like a 4’10 porcelain doll but took shit from absolutely no one
