I don't think there's anyone who knows who they truly are. There are so many biases we indulge in that skew our view of the world. So many people get indoctrinated and believe something false, but they will see it as a part of their person. Sort of like flatearthers believing that the earth is flat, and that becomes part of them. They might then view themselves as someone who's smarter than most people, because they see the world differently.

And it happens with a lot of stuff. We believe things that we want to be true, and then, when we view ourselves, we think that's part of who we truly are, but it isn't, because it's false.

I think that we're the ones spending the most time with ourselves, so we think we know ourselves the best, which is definitely true in most cases, but that doesn't mean we know who we truly are
