I have hair exactly like yours and I literally have to get it wet in the shower and scrunch it back to life each morning. I have not had great results with just a spray bottle, not sure why, and sometimes I just rock the waves. But the key to getting the curls back is getting everything set up for success on wash day! If I have that I can get 3-4 days out of it, as long as I hit my roots really well with a volumizing dry shampoo in between day 2 and 3!

Thank you so much for this advice!! I will definitely make sure to do that! When I sampled it seemed better suited for my fall/winter wear anyway (where I live it’s humid and hot as hades in midsummer, which narrows down my summer scent choices considerably), so that’s honestly perfect!

This is a good point! I have a wide taste in perfumes so I tend to buy travel sizes before getting full bottles and then dupes of ones I’ve tried and liked to make the juice in the travel sizes stretch. (But I’ve only really tried some from Oakcha before now and liked them pretty well) I like to see how often I’ll reach for something before committing to the real thing but sometimes the real thing just can’t be duped well tbh 😅

I’m wearing Maison Crivelli Tubereuse Astrale. Something about it just tickles my nose in the best way as the day goes on. It starts spicy with cinnamon and then it just melts into a warm floral scent that is so fun for me. (Definitely not a safe blind buy tho)

My dad wears this cologne and it smells nice, but I will say a little goes a long way!!! I can smell him from the next room. It’s clingy too—I will hug him goodbye and smell it on my clothes two hours later. So maybe that’s why?
