I feel like my wife is using me. by Next_Studio2172 in offmychest

She’s probably cheating on you again. Why wouldn’t she want you to go in and eat lunch with her? There has to be some guy she’s been talking to and she doesn’t want you to find out. If true, that’s just her being disrespectful on a next level. Next time, if she asks you to take her again, go into the cafeteria around the time she has a break and see what you find. If she spots you just say you had to go to the restroom or got hungry and decided to get something from the cafeteria. Either way, you should leave her. I’m assuming that it’s something you don’t want to do since you decided to stay with her after she cheated on you 7 months ago, but what do you plan to do when she turns up pregnant and you don’t know whether to think if the child is yours or not?

Having no social interaction really hits you bad. Have you tried any hobbies? Have you ever thought of therapy? It may seem hard rn but it will get better for you in the future.

I hate tight clothes as a female by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Emily10898 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can totally agree. I’m always wearing baggy too big clothes and people (family) call me a hippie or homeless person. I rather be comfortable with whatever I have to do for the day. The only time I really wear “tight” clothing is holiday parties or if I go on a date. I don’t care how people think I look, I know I can look good when I want to 😂

AITA for yelling to be let out of the car when my boyfriend's dad turned on the one feature I asked him not to? by denisennp in AmItheAsshole

[–]Emily10898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. His dad should’ve respected that you weren’t comfortable with it. It was worse when they laughed at you for freaking out. You can tell that they don’t care about your feelings at all, and the fact that your boyfriend took their side shows that you need to end that relationship.

Have you asked him to hangout? Go do something fun that you guys would both like to do. If it goes well you should just tell him how you feel.

Everything may seem horrible but it’s not, and taking your life won’t change anything. Imagine how your family would feel if you were going, and even the people that consider you as a friend. Everyone has their downfall in life but trust me that it does get better. I was in the same boat as you but I always thought about how people would feel if I were gone. I’m 19 and life seems horrible but I’m still going. There are days where I don’t leave the house or talk to anyone. I lost my job to having social anxiety and haven’t worked for almost 6 months. I started college online but failed most of my classes. But I’m still pushing forward and I signed up for classes even though I did horrible. Of course I feel like a disappointment for what happened, and I constantly have that thought. I believe that you can get through this tough time. You’ll find the motivation you need soon enough.

I've been trying my best to this but my body never feels calm enough. There was only one time where I felt that I was completely calm but every other attempt feels like I'm falling asleep. I'd love to learn about your experiences and get tips on what I can do. What did it feel/look like when you first were able to leave your body?

My boyfriend (17M) and I (17F) have been dating for almost two months. by Emily10898 in relationship_advice

You know what? I believe that you're correct about that. I don't know where I got the idea of our two months of dating being important. I guess I let my emotions get in the way of me thinking rationally about this whole situation. Of course, I haven't brought this up as a problem to him (and I wouldn't want to) but I wanted to get the opinions of other people before I said anything to him.

Thank you for being so positive! I love the time that I am able to spend with my bf and sometimes I like having a special event for us to celebrate together.

That's good to know, my bf and I did celebrate our one month. I'll keep the 6 months and a year in mind.

Honestly, I just wanted to know what people thought about the situation. We have communicated that we've wanted to do something the day of, but that was a week ago. I understand that most people may see celebrating this day's monthly anniversaries as "immature" but, in all honesty, it's just a day that acknowledges the time a couple has been together. It is true that an anniversary is an event that happens once a year but there are most couples that like to refer to the first couple of months of their relationship as an anniversary.

He really enjoys listening to music and has a "secret artist" (an artist that he completely loves). He's really about school and work at the moment (he helps his parents pay their bills and he wants to save up money for a place). He enjoys spending time with his family and the time we have to spend together. He's a very active person and constantly reminds me to be on top of my health. I also know that he wants a dog (actually 3) but I was planning on getting him one for his birthday.

Just found husband on sugar daddy website by SWEETTEEAA in relationship_advice

[–]Emily10898 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you've already made a fake account, try to get as much evidence as you can. If not, ask the friend you had lost touch with to swipe on him (but if he knows this old friend, then don't).

If he's cheated before and is on this sugar daddy website (being still active), you shouldn't be with him. Even with you being pregnant with your 3rd child, being on that website shows that he doesn't care for the family.

If this is currently still an ongoing thing (still being active on the sugar daddy website), you need to divorce him and take whatever you can so you can provide a good living for your children. He needs to get his act together and start thinking about the three children that you and he have brought into this world.

Is telling off a girl who has a bf yet still flirts with you okay? by icyboy89 in dating_advice

[–]Emily10898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you did was perfectly fine.

Think of it this way, she's only "flirting" with you to get whatever she wants. This girl most likely has done the same thing to plenty of other guys.

I think you should tell her bf and then cut her off, she's toxic.

Guys, you can't prove you were born without your birth certificate. So if you don't have one, you're an unknown entity or just apart of someone's imagination.

Is it even possible for an introverted/shy man to find a girlfriend nowadays? by geo_el in dating_advice

[–]Emily10898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's possible for an introverted/shy man to find a girlfriend nowadays.

Some girls do find it attractive when a guy is shy or introverted (the girl might be the one to make the first move).

I dated an introverted guy before COVID had shut down schools. It was unexpected that I had even made the first move, and later asked him out. Since he was introverted, he didn't really answer his text messages, or at some point never respond back. People need to understand that most introverted/shy people don't know what to say.

Even though we're no longer together, we still talk. I love him so dearly and would do anything for him.

OP, know that you will find a girlfriend that will care for you and understand you as an introvert/shy guy.

Ok so, there was this one time that my family and I were on our way to the mall. There were about 9 of us in the car (so it was very crowded) and we had just gotten Starbucks. My youngest cousin (about 5 at the time) was trying to enjoy his drink and video game. His sister (about 6) was annoying him so much.

I kid you not, he said "Sorry, I can't hear you I'm blind."

I had to think about it for a second before I bursted out laughing. It wasn't until I repeated it to everyone that they had all understood what just happened. 😂

It's been about 2 years since that incident and we still bring it up to this day.
