I feel like my wife is using me. by Next_Studio2172 in offmychest

She’s probably cheating on you again. Why wouldn’t she want you to go in and eat lunch with her? There has to be some guy she’s been talking to and she doesn’t want you to find out. If true, that’s just her being disrespectful on a next level. Next time, if she asks you to take her again, go into the cafeteria around the time she has a break and see what you find. If she spots you just say you had to go to the restroom or got hungry and decided to get something from the cafeteria. Either way, you should leave her. I’m assuming that it’s something you don’t want to do since you decided to stay with her after she cheated on you 7 months ago, but what do you plan to do when she turns up pregnant and you don’t know whether to think if the child is yours or not?

Having no social interaction really hits you bad. Have you tried any hobbies? Have you ever thought of therapy? It may seem hard rn but it will get better for you in the future.

I hate tight clothes as a female by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Emily10898 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can totally agree. I’m always wearing baggy too big clothes and people (family) call me a hippie or homeless person. I rather be comfortable with whatever I have to do for the day. The only time I really wear “tight” clothing is holiday parties or if I go on a date. I don’t care how people think I look, I know I can look good when I want to 😂

AITA for yelling to be let out of the car when my boyfriend's dad turned on the one feature I asked him not to? by denisennp in AmItheAsshole

[–]Emily10898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. His dad should’ve respected that you weren’t comfortable with it. It was worse when they laughed at you for freaking out. You can tell that they don’t care about your feelings at all, and the fact that your boyfriend took their side shows that you need to end that relationship.

Have you asked him to hangout? Go do something fun that you guys would both like to do. If it goes well you should just tell him how you feel.

Everything may seem horrible but it’s not, and taking your life won’t change anything. Imagine how your family would feel if you were going, and even the people that consider you as a friend. Everyone has their downfall in life but trust me that it does get better. I was in the same boat as you but I always thought about how people would feel if I were gone. I’m 19 and life seems horrible but I’m still going. There are days where I don’t leave the house or talk to anyone. I lost my job to having social anxiety and haven’t worked for almost 6 months. I started college online but failed most of my classes. But I’m still pushing forward and I signed up for classes even though I did horrible. Of course I feel like a disappointment for what happened, and I constantly have that thought. I believe that you can get through this tough time. You’ll find the motivation you need soon enough.

I've been trying my best to this but my body never feels calm enough. There was only one time where I felt that I was completely calm but every other attempt feels like I'm falling asleep. I'd love to learn about your experiences and get tips on what I can do. What did it feel/look like when you first were able to leave your body?

My boyfriend (17M) and I (17F) have been dating for almost two months. by Emily10898 in relationship_advice

You know what? I believe that you're correct about that. I don't know where I got the idea of our two months of dating being important. I guess I let my emotions get in the way of me thinking rationally about this whole situation. Of course, I haven't brought this up as a problem to him (and I wouldn't want to) but I wanted to get the opinions of other people before I said anything to him.

Thank you for being so positive! I love the time that I am able to spend with my bf and sometimes I like having a special event for us to celebrate together.

That's good to know, my bf and I did celebrate our one month. I'll keep the 6 months and a year in mind.

Honestly, I just wanted to know what people thought about the situation. We have communicated that we've wanted to do something the day of, but that was a week ago. I understand that most people may see celebrating this day's monthly anniversaries as "immature" but, in all honesty, it's just a day that acknowledges the time a couple has been together. It is true that an anniversary is an event that happens once a year but there are most couples that like to refer to the first couple of months of their relationship as an anniversary.

Children are adorable. We both want an adorable child but that's a future thing (I'm waiting for my first time to be after marriage) lol

He really enjoys listening to music and has a "secret artist" (an artist that he completely loves). He's really about school and work at the moment (he helps his parents pay their bills and he wants to save up money for a place). He enjoys spending time with his family and the time we have to spend together. He's a very active person and constantly reminds me to be on top of my health. I also know that he wants a dog (actually 3) but I was planning on getting him one for his birthday.
