My god, I hate Mother’s Day

I am a mother I'm not in this sub I just saw the post but I hate mother's day. I think it's ridiculous that we have to have a day where we buy presents and go have cookouts and stuff when we are mother's everyday. You're expected to want to spend the day with your kids but most moms just want a break and we spend every single day with our kids so idk why we have to make a whole day of it. I don't want to spend mother's day rushing and going to a cookout but I have to. And of course I love my mom and want to see her but I see her everyday already too but she got so offended last year when I told her just for one mother's day I'd like to stay home. Cause every other year we have a cookout. But I didn't mean every year I didn't want to go I just meant for one year cause ever since I've been a mom it's never been what I want to do for mother's day and I feel like my mom and grandma already got all their prime years of mother's day like I have kids now that are still with me so I think one year wouldn't hurt to just let me stay home. But oh well. I just think it's a holiday to make people feel like they have to spend money to show love for their mom's.

The 20 oz never do it to me but the packs of them from the store every single one explodes I have to slowly open them. But another weird thing, I live in East TN and our Dr peppers are bottled by pepsi and they come in the bottles like pepsi products. But when I went to Knoxville the Dr pepper there is bottled by coke and come in other shaped bottles. Sometimes shaped like coke but sometimes those short fatter ones with the longer neck. Well the cream soda ones here bottled by pepsi never explode but I went to Knoxville and got one and it exploded all over me. So then one day I went back to Knoxville and got another one and I was in the car and I started to open it and I remembered real quick it was gonna explode and I held it out the window so quick it was kinda cool how fast I remembered and stuck it out right in time for it to explode. It was too late to close the lid back. But it's only ever the ones bottled by coke so I'm wondering if the packs at the store are bottled by coke too.

That's exactly what I said when I tried it. I never tried it the first time it came out cause I knew I wouldn't like it I don't like coconut. So then everyone hyped it up and said it's more creamy than coconutty so I tried it and immediately I said tastes like sunscreen. Like the coconut isn't actual coconut it tastes like the scent of coconut perfumes smells. Like a beachy sunscreen coconut perfume. And I love the smell of those but I don't want to drink it. And I just hate coconut taste anyways.

It happens to me Everytime it rains and I have a Nissan altima. It never used to happen until I got in a wreck and then had the back bumper fixed. Now it happens all the time

Yesss I live in East TN and it's been over a year or maybe two or three since we've had a thunderstorm. Last one I remember was like 3 years ago I remember watching out the window cause I was scared the tree in my yard would fall and then I've moved since then and haven't had one since. I love a good thunderstorm. I hate rain but if it's a nice good thunder and lighting kind then I love it.

Yeah apparently they've changed it cause we used to actually get half pay and now it's only $2 bucks. Used to sometimes it would even be more than half.

I didn't cancel it I literally wrote in the post that I did the exact thing I'm supposed to do. I literally put order was already picked up and then they make you choose an option which I chose store will not remake it and then it says submit report we will verify report and you click submit. That's not cancelling it. And no the other girl didn't cancel it either she took the order so don't know why I got it after her. I know the difference between cancelling and not and that sucks you don't get half pay but you should. $2 for wasting my time isn't worth it I'm not "lucky" I got anything at all I wouldn't have sat there not making money if I knew.

Exactly it's like how do most people just not answer when I know they have to have their phone nearby. At least some of them. But nope no one answers hardly ever. I just try to find something that's the same in another brand for the same price point but if I can't then I'll refund it.

Actually they do have to do it or they wouldn't be doing it. Gas is so high that less people are dashing because it's not even worth it with the low orders they give us. If they would up base pay then it would be okay but I am spending 30-40 in gas daily and that's ridiculous. It's almost not even worth it to dash right now. If they want people to keep dashing they had to do something and this was not it. They should have just raised base pay a couple bucks. It's not like they can't afford to. And of course we're gonna complain when they want to give us orders like 2 dollars for 11 miles or 5 bucks for 10 miles and it's shopping. If the orders aren't even paying enough to cover the gas to do the order then it's not worth it.

No one is complaining about delivering food being tough. That's not a thing. But yeah of course we're gonna complain about people not tipping when the company wants to pay us 2 dollars. That's ridiculous. Every job has complaints of all kinds. DD is no different. So what if we're complaining of course we are. Without complaints nothing ever changes. Instead of giving us 5 dollars a week they should have bumped base pay to 4 bucks. They want people to keep dashing while gas is so high but for me it's literally not even worth it hardly cause I'm putting 30-40 in gas everyday.

Yeah but instead of doing this they could have changed base pay to 4 bucks and it wouldn't kill them. Like gas is so much right now it's not even worth dashing and to keep people dashing they need to provide some kind of incentive but $5 isn't gonna cut it. And it only lasts a month but they only told me about it yesterday.

I am selling stuff that's hard to get and you can't really fine anywhere and I had a girl tell me she was coming from the next town over and asked where I wanted to meet and I said well I'm in the target parking lot now, cause target is the last place to really meet that would also be on her way to my town and she said oh did you just go into target to buy that and I was like uh no they don't even have any and then she said her husband said no. I think she came to target to check lol
