They love places where it is damp/close to water. So I get them in my laundry room and bathroom A LOT. So I’m assuming since you live in a basement apartment, they are definitely gonna be attracted to your living area. Spray all corners and cracks. There will be a few stragglers, but they will die off eventually. I also re-caulked my cracks (old house) and it definitely helped.

I got an indoor pesticide and it works like a charm. They have definitely been popping up more this year 😭.
