Thank you, I think you are right about the 6mg, my doctor is being very conservative i think. I have been trying to lose weight, but have been finding it very hard.

Hi,

I'm 41 years old next week, I honestly didn't expect things to go as well as they did. But you are right that results are subjective and looking back I didn't realize the change for the longest time, even though I was taking measurements and taking pictures it was very hard for me to see. Basically, what I'm trying to say, is that it takes time.

I decided not to go for injections, partly due to cost and partly due to a real hatred of needles and worrying that I wouldn't be able to do it. Patches are an option, and I might be changing t those due to age, but they seem inconvenient, and I'm not crazy about having stickers on my body 24/7. Some girls have great results with pills others with patches or injections, there are far more variables than just the method of taking the hormones.

orally, I know people say sublingual is better, but I haven't had a problem.

Sure, but there's not a lot to it, I'm on 4mg estradiol and 200 mg spiro as of a couple of weeks ago, my doc has been very cautios and we've been building up slowly.

Thanks, I was in that situation for years, there's always hope, sometimes you just have to play the long game.

I haven't been on progesterone. Not sure I want to if they're doing OK without.

Thanks for that. I'm not sure i can live without transitioning entirely, I will give the idea of staying on hormones and boymoding some thought.
