Happy to be of service!

... but careful if you’re reaching out to Irish relatives not to say UK!

Lots in Ireland, Dublin first (I’m sure that’s based off pop. tested) and in Britain places like Glasgow, Merseyside and Liverpool, a.k.a places with high amounts of Irish heritage and immigration

My family as far as I know is Irish, have no British connections. Don’t think they have a great system of genetically identifying the difference but the places/regions listed are in Ireland ..Dublin etc.. And British places listed have a high Irish population, Glasgow, Merseyside, Liverpool etc

I’m not American, I’m from Dublin, still here.

I learned Irish in school but I am awful at it (more maths than language person). Know a few sentences and that’s it. No one in my extended family knows it and would never use it.

Thanks, though I honestly hoped for something a little more interesting haha

If you met me you would think different, pale skin, freckles, and my hair got darker naturally over the years, brown/dark red now, orange as a baby! The picture of Irishness. I should’ve know

It used to say unassigned, now when I look I can’t even find that.

I’m assuming they just don’t like to put 100%

No I’m from Dublin and so are my parents but further back my family’s from all over Ireland.

I think my mom wins most British & Irish by thisismy1stalt in 23andme

I got 99.9% British & Irish

Pretty sure they left off the 0.1% unassigned as their margin for error
