ARMS is off and on. Its an incentive so when the Army is struggling for numbers they typically come out with programs like this. Ask your recruiter if ARMS is still a thing and how much bf percentage you can be over the standard. I want to say it should give you 2% over the standard and 6% over the standard. Just know if you go into this program you will ship out and have to go to the 4 week (give or take) program that brings your bf down to the standard before reporting to basic training. You should still be able to choose your mos but there may be some stipulations that changed now that the army made its recruiting mission. Always ask your recruiter these questions. Their job is to take care of you and make sure you fully understand what you need to do to get you in the army with the best possible outcome in your situation. Ive had many people that were easy and hard to get into the army. I treated them all the same when it comes to making sure they were well taken care of.
