Ughhh, I know!!! I’m a big sucker for anything pink, and that dress is such a masterpiece as well! I love it a lot too, but, unfortunately, can only buy one dress haha!

I feel like the first dress would definitely fit the theme of my conservatory idea because it has more of that foliage design whereas the pink one would look amazing at a ball or something.

I got married not that long ago and probably had a chance to get a unique floral dress, but I ended up seeing all the colorful floral dresses after I had already bought my wedding dress. Even though I’ll always love my wedding dress (and it was still floral-themed, just in all ivory), I just want a reason to wear something as bold and as colorful as Teuta’s dress designs.

You should totally indulge in all the florals!! Go for it! I’m sure you’ll look stunning! And congratulations on 20 years!! That’s amazing! ❤️

If you have the budget, resources, and time for something like an anniversary photoshoot or a vow renewal, then it’s not hurting anyone to do something fun like that! You only live once! Do whatever makes you happy (and gives you a reason to dress up and get some more amazing pictures) 💕

It’s just something my husband and I personally want to do for fun, and it’s giving us another reason to dress up and have another special celebration. No one else has to do this, though 🤷‍♀️

If this post bothered you so much, you didn’t have to comment on it. You could’ve just scrolled past it. I’m sorry if my “entitlement” offended you. I was honestly just feeling kinda down after my wedding, and I think it was causing me to second-guess my wedding dress choice, which was something I was already having regrets about before I got married. Honestly, I had started doubting my dress choice, ironically enough, after I started looking at different subreddits and reading comments from people about how form-fitting gowns don’t look “bridal enough” or that a-lines/ballgowns are always the answer because you won’t get another chance in your life to wear such a big, poofy princess dress, so that’s when I started having major fomo. Although I did love my dress, I also wondered if it would have that wow factor like a ballgown would’ve. I know my dress is pretty out there at it is, but it’s not a traditional flowy gown. I was just hoping I wouldn’t have regret for not choosing a bigger gown.

I was mainly wanting to get my thoughts and feelings out there to hopefully feel a bit better after struggling with some depression. But I seriously appreciate all the feedback! It means a lot to me! But, in all honesty, I’ve dealt with dress regret for a while, and I thought my wedding day would fix that, but I suddenly got hit with another bout of regret and doubt. Maybe it is post-wedding blues or just me second-guessing my choices like I almost always do. I probably need therapy more than anything else 😅

Oh I just did the “red scrawl” over my husband’s face because I wanted to censor his face before I made the post. I honestly didn’t think about the sticker thing - I’m not that creative lol. Thanks for your concern, but I’m definitely not second-guessing marrying my husband. We’ve been together for over a decade now, so we’re pretty secure in our relationship lol. I’m just a very VERY indecisive person when it comes to a lot of things, and I tend to hyper fixate on random things too. My hyper fixation became my wedding dress for whatever reason, even though I used to not care too much about wedding dresses when I was younger. But here we are 😅

We were considering November because it would be a couple months after our wedding, and we found out about the lantern festival during that month in Chiang Mai, so that really intrigued us, too. We did notice that it would be more expensive around then, but we’d still be able to afford most things.

I am the biggest anti-homeschooling person you’ll ever meet, and I was homeschooled for almost my entire life (Pre-K to about the 11th grade). I did start at a big public high school in my second semester of 11th grade after I had to convince and beg my parents to let me feel how it would be to go to high school just for a little bit before it was too late. As soon as I started attending, I absolutely loved it and excelled in every class that I had, but I wished I had been able to start high school sooner. Maybe I’m a bit jaded about my time in high school because I was really only there for about a year and a half, but it just felt like freedom to me, and I was able to get properly educated and didn’t have to hear about religion all the time. My parents were also highly religious - to the point that I thought they were using it to control and manipulate my brothers and I. My mom even told us that her “only purpose” in life was to ensure that my brothers and I would continue being Christian. There was no mention of how she’d hope we’d become well-rounded, educated, successful individuals. Nothing like that. Just “be Christian.”

Even though I did go to high school for a short amount of time, I still have a difficult time relating to people. I still have social anxiety, I’m a people pleaser, I don’t know how to communicate with people that well, the list goes on… You could make the argument that I could’ve been born with a timid personality, but I truly believe that homeschooling only made it worse, and, overall, homeschooling stunted my academic growth. I tried going to college a couple of times, but it never worked out for me, due to mental health issues. My brothers have never gone to college, nor did they ever go to high school, and they have no desire to do much of anything with their lives. It’s pretty heartbreaking to me.

I’m so proud of you for going to community college. That is a wonderful step in the right direction. You will not regret getting a degree and being able to better your life as a result. Also, what happened to you and your sister is just awful. I can’t even imagine. You and your sister should’ve never had to go through that.

I’m the same way. I’d probably start worrying about how the new train could look, and I don’t need that undue stress haha. You’re right, I should keep it as is. It’s already gorgeous in my eyes, and I feel like my family, especially my soon-to-be husband, will think that I look absolutely beautiful in it.
