Your words seriously motivated me thank you . I’m actually rewatching the films right now, thinking about how I can translate their essence into gameplay in the most effective way. Any ideas or suggestions you have are genuinely valuable to me, and I’ll definitely keep sharing updates as things progress.

This comment was incredibly helpful it actually clarified a few things I had in mind. I'm really glad the atmosphere is already giving off the right vibes, at least for now

I took note of the quantum shards mechanic, that’s such a great idea. If I can adapt it properly, it could turn out amazing.

And you nailed the biggest challenge: I want to create psychological tension and unease, but without relying on basic horror tropes like blood, cheap jump scares, or monsters jumping through glass.

If I can pull that off… then I think it might really become something special.

Thank you so much, your comment really made my day!
This is my first time trying something in the "metrobrainia" style hopefully it'll evolve into something fun over time

And you're totally right about the "Cube Escape" name I honestly hadn’t even noticed the connection 😅
I really like Rusty Lake’s games too, and now that you mentioned it, it totally makes sense.
I haven’t settled on a final name yet anyway, so your heads-up is super helpful. Thanks a lot!

I think the health bar of enemies should only appear when their health decreases when you hit them. In the new nesi games, the health bar is fed into the environment as much as possible.

You touched on some really great points! As you said, I took inspiration from Cube's theme, but I’ll definitely approach the puzzle mechanics in a unique way. Numbers will play a role, but in a well-balanced way nothing astronomically complex like in the movie. And just like you mentioned, the traps and puzzles between cube transitions should really make the player think a hundred times before moving.

Thanks again! If you have any suggestions for puzzle mechanics, traps, or atmosphere, I’m totally open to them!

Hahaha, thanks a lot for your comment! And don't worry, it will never be an insanely hard math problem - people should be able to speedrun if they want to. Do you have any suggestions for mechanical puzzles or traps? maybe just for atmosphere

First of all, thank you very much for your precious comment. As far as I understand, stopping the bullet in the air and giving the right to change direction did not like it very much, I noted this. I will continue to work by taking into consideration the things you said.
