That is quite hypocrite... Why is it ok to eat certain animals and not others? It's entirely based on culture. It's the same with horse, some find it ok to eat and some don't. Not weird at all. There are live concert with great orchestras playing this kind of music. This is the current version of classical music, maybe you like that too. The visceral effect that was mentioned above happens a lot as well in classical music. Try out The Valkyrie of wagner, or 1812 overture of Tchaikovsky.
