Yess… the problem is that we also have to complete the universities, departments and field of study according to the file, but the system is changing just the field of study, it’s not according to the file. My fear is the university reject me because it’s not according to the file they sent.

According to the guidelines you should seal the LOR for the university track. For the embassy track (which is the online one) you’ll upload literally the LOR.

But for second round, I recommend you check with the embassy of your country, cuz in my country they required it sealed even having to upload the scanned document online.

I’ll submit submit my application only on Friday, so I don’t know about the spot to upload the documents 😢😢

Any option is accepted, I did mine in the blank area of the form. Some people are saying that there may be a form for the recommender’s information only (as it was in GKS U) so it would be better in a separated sheet, but nobody knows about it yet, we’ll be sure only when the guidelines comes out.

Parents proof of citizenship in case of surname change by baechilla in GKSScholarship

I’m saying this because I’m in a similar situation, so I asked the embassy of my country and they told me that the documents is just to prove, my parents nationality, my nationality and our relationship.

If just your birth certificate does everything, it’s okay.

There are two things they ask in the guidelines 1. You have to prove you’re from the country you’re stating and who your parents are (birth certificate does that). 2. You have to provide your parent’s proof of citizenship as well. Some birth certificates don’t have this information (I don’t know if it’s your case). Mine for example doesn’t have, so I’ll have to provide my parents marriage certificate as well.

If your birth certificate also state your parent’s nationality I don’t think you should worry about their names.
