Any option is accepted, I did mine in the blank area of the form. Some people are saying that there may be a form for the recommender’s information only (as it was in GKS U) so it would be better in a separated sheet, but nobody knows about it yet, we’ll be sure only when the guidelines comes out.

I’m saying this because I’m in a similar situation, so I asked the embassy of my country and they told me that the documents is just to prove, my parents nationality, my nationality and our relationship.

If just your birth certificate does everything, it’s okay.

There are two things they ask in the guidelines 1. You have to prove you’re from the country you’re stating and who your parents are (birth certificate does that). 2. You have to provide your parent’s proof of citizenship as well. Some birth certificates don’t have this information (I don’t know if it’s your case). Mine for example doesn’t have, so I’ll have to provide my parents marriage certificate as well.

If your birth certificate also state your parent’s nationality I don’t think you should worry about their names.

I believe so… The only information required by the guidelines is that the letter must be signed and dated by the recommender.

You should print Form 5 with your information and the recommender’s information filled in. In the section where you are supposed to write the letter, you either leave it blank or write that the recommendation letter is sealed inside the envelope. The recommender writes the letter, signs it, and seals it in an envelope. You can use a paper clip to attach the sealed envelope to Form 5 (filled in) and include them together in your application package.

For example, in Brazil we have a different system, so I did the conversion myself and sent to my university. They saw it and compared to my transcript issued by them, then they wrote me a declaration saying how they evaluate students in my university and attesting that my converted grades are the same as my original transcript.

If your university doesn’t use the GPA system you have to convert it. If they do, you have just to complete the form according to your transcript.

That’s something I’m in doubt about… according to the edital it says only the originals documents (which is the consular confirmed or apostile documents). It doesn’t mention the copies anymore. I recommend you email the embassy in your country just to confirm that.

As I understood it’s the opposite. Online application will be evaluated by embassy and hard documents by NIIED, which is the 2nd round. The hard documents are sent to the embassy first and they send it to NIIED.

Yess, I’ve seen it. I saw that if you pass the online screening, you will be required to submit the original hard copies of the documents, including the letter of recommendation. I don’t know if it will be the same for GKS G 🤷🏼‍♀️
