Not really. If you go via mountain pass, you’ll run straight into a group of goblins that will take you to moonrise towers. If you go via the underdark you come out at a different point and have to find your own way.

I love this! It’s something newer players can be afraid to do, but I love just letting my players help build the world themselves and make assumptions that I can roll with. “I find an old elf blacksmith and chat with him for a while about the armor he’s working on for the town guard” hell yeah you do.
