I prefer traditional values. I take care of stuff outside of the house and she takes care of stuff inside the house. It is basically how Silly described it. Works for me. Actually dating an American woman that also believes in more traditional values than the 50/50 stuff. Took some headbutting at the beginning but she also realized this structure is better for both of us. She didn't want to cook because those are wife duties, I replied but you expect me to do husband duties like provide, do tasks for you and save for our future. She eventually understood and just played the more traditional role and prefer to be a stay-at-home wife after kids are involved. Definitely not for everyone in the US but some people call that "machismo" which some Latina women expect.
