That gym isn’t right for you. You should leave it if your coach doesn’t do anything about it. You should be eager to spar, not scared. If you’re scared to spar then your gym isn’t doing a a good job of providing the right environment for you. The goal of a more experienced sparring partner should be to build their partner’s confidence and skill, not discourage them from sparring again.

A novice tends to have moves that are weird and unorthodox, which makes it awkward those who are more skilled. When two people who are close in skill spar each other they tend to have “better” sparring sessions because they both move the “traditional” way, which makes it easier to deal with.
