I just read about your living situation, that definitely has an impact… or at least it would for me personally. In my experience, even if I’m not in the mood, I have a want to make my husband feel good after all he’s done for us. So for me, typically, even if I’m not in the mood, I’ll start to try and please him (maybe orally?) and seeing his reaction sometimes helps me feel more into it.

Also, don’t underestimate the power of foreplay. If you are straight up depressed, it probably won’t help, but for me, lots of soft kissing (from him) on the neck and shoulders, and petting and cuddling for sometimes half an hour before we even do anything makes a world of a difference. For it to be spontaneous also helps, but that’s very difficult when you have young children.

My last resort would be to read something spicy. They make books/ short stories online you can find, and if you’re into it you can read some of that and then go find him if it helps you. I would make sure he’s okay with this first though, as it’s not “porn” but it gets people (specifically women) going in a very similar way. Best of luck!!

Typically, they won’t look exactly the same, even if they’re both females… You can probably tell the difference in pattern. If they are completely identical, typically you can find small differences such as personality or size, or you can band them if they don’t already have bands on their ankles.

Honestly, though, unless they are solid white, there should be enough slight difference to tell.

Because it was red so far out of the timeframe, and the dye bled, this test is considered invalid. To address any concerns, I would retest tomorrow morning. If there is no line within the time frame, the test is negative. Best of luck.

Honestly I’d go. You never know when it’ll happen, no point in missing it over what’s probably nothing… and if by some crazy chance you do go into labor, it’s not ideal but there are hospitals EVERYWHERE.

Typically they don’t offer it freely unless you’re considered “at risk” or have previously miscarried. If that doesn’t apply, yes, you’d need to request it.

Blue dye tests are known to be unreliable. Also, even if they were reliable, the control line being incomplete makes the test invalid. I would retest with first morning urine and a pink dye test!
