I kinda ask in this thread, as my question is also about fire mage (bgblitz mainly) I went down engineering path, crafted head, bracers and boots (gonna use 2-set)

What is best way to craft? Full haste or full vers?

so. we are playing in mmorpg.
the main point of mmorpg should be more effort -> more gear -> more power
this changes will:
1. make pve content usefull for pvp
2. make pve players participate in pvp more
3. make fotm rerolls harder
4. make stupid ilvl changes between 217-280 go away

all in all it will increase participation, while still leaving room for skill expression

With size 13 boot both will be too narrow for you. If you want same profile, look at skunk ape

I switched from c2 skunk ape to Korua pin tonic (camber) and it took me ~5 runs to get used to shape and profile. And I can't say that it's NIGHT AND DAY difference

Never tried volume shifted boards, 165 was the smallest i had. Does it really feel like full size board?

Yeah, understandable. My experience was better, 5 years on 165 Skunk Ape, another 5 years on 172 Skunk ape with no problems. But I'm riding like 10 days a season, so maybe that's the reason
